Before the incident
Team member was attempting to shower patient when she was bitten. Patient bit team member during attempt to shower in bathroom at the south end of [REDACTED] main hallway. Team member sustained a small laceration around the perimeter of the nail bed to fourth digit of left hand. PM Care consulted with referral to Urgent Care. Pain level 10 10. Referred to Urgent Care on [REDACTED] for evaluation. Follow up appt in in AM of [REDACTED] 2 [REDACTED]. Pt went home following this consult and will be following up in AM after her appt.
