What happened
Freezer trailer doors are all different. The amount of force required to open the door can vary from one to the other. In this particular instance there was a little more resistance than usual when trying to open the door and this is where the strain to the lower right side of [REDACTED] 's back occurred. The strain was felt immediately but did not seem to be too bad and [REDACTED] was able to continue working. He did mention the strain to the day warehouse manager as well as the ops manager.
Injury or illness
Lower back was strained while opening a freezer trailer door. The strain at first did not seem bad enough to require immediate attention or otherwise cause much alarm. The next day area was tight and pain extreme and unable to tie shoes. Employee was given Naproxen for inflammation and Tizanidine for muscle relaxing. diagnosed with a Lumbar strain. Physical therapy has also been prescribed. Released from care on 9 4 25.
