What happened
The surgeon was using 3-0 SH vicryl pop off needles to close the patient up from surgery and he he put it on my mayo stsnd with the needle sticking up right next to my new loaded suture and I was doing a closing count at the same time and when I went to grab his next suture that 's when it stuck me and it wasn 't a deep stick it was just the tip of the needle that penetrated my skin
