What happened
wo colleagues were working inside the Deccox blender together to adjust the new drop gates on the blender. This required one person with a pry bar to get the right alignment on the drop gate while the other person tightened bolts to hold it in place. The pry bar slipped out and hit the other person in the upper lip cutting his lip. We immediately administered first aid and sent the person to the Occupational Health clinic for case management. The colleague received six stitches on the outside of his upper lip.
