Before the incident
Employee was sitting on the top of the inside stripper guard framework and cleaned some of the product off of the platform. After the area was clean he started to climb down.
What happened
Employee was climbing off the framework ledge of the inside stripper when the left toe of work boot became stuck in between the frame and product flap causing employee to twist and fall to the secondary platform about 39.5 inches. While falling the employee 's rear right shoulder contacted equipment edges causing lacerations. The result of the injury was 2 parallel lacerations to the back of the right shoulder requiring sutures.
