During endofshift wrapup the employee reached down to retrieve her personal bag which had been placed beneath a glass cart The cart is equipped with protruding metal fingers designed to stabilize materials and prevent them from leaning As the employee stood up she inadvertently struck her foreheadbetween the eyebrowson one of the metal fingers resulting in a shallow laceration approximately one inch in length A nearby coworker immediately noticed the injury and bleeding and promptly escalated the situation to the group lead
