Before the incident
On [REDACTED] around [REDACTED] Employee was painting the entrance stairs for Building 1 When stepping down the stairs he felt a sharp pain on his lower back but kept working thinking it was nothing On [REDACTED] while he began to do his regular job tasks as janitor he began to feel the sharp pain again on his lower back and decided to report the incident to EHS He was seen by the Fit for Work representative who evaluated his condition gave him a massage with a topical painrelieving gel and gave him some selfcare instructions On [REDACTED] employee returned to EHS office asking to be sent to the Clinic as his pain was not going away and he was worried something else may be happening on his back Medcor was called and employee was referred to the Clinic due to his symptoms not improving since the day of the incident
