Employee was performing normal parts stockroom job duties and when carrying a small fan motor (approximately 8lbs) the employee dropped the motor on his right foot Following the incident the employee reported pain and swelling in his foot The employee was wearing compliant safety toe shoes however the impact was just above the toe protection area It is assumed the mounting bracket on the motor contacted the foot causing the fracture
