What happened
At approximately [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] a DT driver was approaching an intersection with a green traffic signal. As the DOT vehicle proceeded through the intersection a box truck operated by the [REDACTED] Company unexpectedly entered the intersection failing to yield the right of way. Due to the sudden incursion the DOT driver was unable to stop in time and collided with the rear passenger side of the [REDACTED] box truck. The impact resulted in significant damage to the front and passenger side of the DOT vehicle as well as to the rear and passenger side of the [REDACTED] truck.
