Drawing blood but trying to apply pressure right after pulling needle out of patients arm.
What happened
While trying to draw blood on patient her vein blew so I pulled the needle out but before I could put the safety on the patient moved her hand which then caused me to stick myself with the contaminated needle in my left pinky finger.
