At approximately [REDACTED] while making his usual route dropoff at the post office the truck driver opened the trailer doors The doors had a limit strap but no releasable mechanism and he proceeded to open them When opened 1015 stacked packages fell inside the trailer The driver entered to clear the obstruction and reposition the packages so the doors could close safely While stepping out he slipped on stretchwrapped boxes causing his footing to slide on plasticwrapped surfaces and forcing him into a splitlike stance with the right leg leading The staged products had been handwrapped because the stretch wrap machine was down and there was no cargo securement in place He experienced a muscular strain in the upper right thigh Also had a Near Miss Falling packages posed a risk of impact injury to the driver 2 Near Miss Falling packages posed a risk of impact injury to the driver
