Employee was working in the production area and was handling an empty skid by dragging it by her right side Employee lost grip on the empty skid and it fell on the right side of her right fit crushing her pinky toe It was discovered that most steel toe tennis shoes and boots dont fully cover the side of toes especially the pinky toe Employee tried working through the discomfort for about 30 mins before reporting the injury to the production supervisor The safety coordinator was then notified of the situation and responded shortly after It was discovered that pallet jack locations to handle empty skids were not in a convenient place near the production area Employee was treated with ice packs to compress and given a 30 min break
