Before the incident
Employee was loading rod on the horn. The employee had also just cut the band on the coil of rod.
What happened
After cutting the band on the rod the employee went to yank the band off of the rod and when he went to yank the rod slid through the hands of the employee. The employee was not wearing gloves and a burr on the band sliced the employees palm side of fingers.
