Transferring a bariatric patient from their home shower chair to a stair chair as they were falling out of their chair and unable to stand to reposition.
What happened
While pulling the patient over the stairchair shifted pushing me backward during which I slipped on water that had accumulated. The combination of the slip and the movement of the patient resulted in immediate low back pain and muscle tightness.
