extricating PT from home to ambulance crew of two lift PT to carry down three stairs front porch at the bottom of staircase PT reaches out and grabs railing pulls then immediately lets go causing equipment and crew to stop sway right and then rapidly sway left injured crew member was in the back of the chair at the higher position the rapid unexpected movement caused injured crew member to twist out of appropriate carry position and then brace to stop the stair chairs momentum to prevent patient other crew injury
