What happened
He was cutting a box open with a guarded boxcutter holding the box with his right hand and the boxcutter with his left hand. He cut towards himself and when the blade cut through the cardboard it went into his right palm where he was holding the box resulting in a laceration. He was wearing abrasion resistant gloves but not cut-resistant gloves.
