What happened
Employee was cleaning out pens with a caterpiller. He exited the caterpiller to open the gate so he could get the caterpiller out of the pen. He drove the caterpiller through the gate exited the caterpiller to close the gate. An aggressive steer attacked him while he was on the ground. Employee was able to get behing the gate but the steer also headbutted the gate and the gate also hit employee.
