On [REDACTED] at roughly 1430 hours a field expert got off their forklift to press the button on the garage door panel to close the garage door The field expert pressed the button but nothing happened so they pressed the button again and the garage door started closing so the operator turned around to get on the forklift and as that happened the field expert was struck in the top of the forehead by a cord reel which hanging above the door and wired to a door sensor The field expert was wearing a bump cap at the time of the incident but immediately felt some pain in their head The operator said they started experiencing a headache but no other symptoms The field expert and their supervisor consulted with the nurse triage line about the incident and they were given clearance to keep working The operator requested to take the rest of the shift off at their discretion [REDACTED] the employee sought outside medical attention after not reporting to work in the days after the incident The emp
