Before the incident
Employee was preparing material for the welder cycling the machine.
What happened
EE was removing welded parts from the rolldown and stacking them in a tilted bin. The parts were separated by sheet cardboard. The sheet (too small) shifted and allowed the part to shift position and impact her forearm (hot weld steel part). The weld flange was very hot and caused a 2nd degree burn. It was originally a first aid incident as EE elected to treat it herself. After several [REDACTED] the burn became infected she was sent to the clinic for care and was prescribed several antibiotics.
