On [REDACTED] an operator notified the site OHN of an upcoming carpal tunnel surgery. OHN directed the employee to speak to their supervisor to report the injury. Employee told the supervisor that there was no injury to report but that they had been experiencing tingling in their fingers for years. Operator did not know if the injury was work-related but thought it could be from working on pleated products. Operator reported to supervisor that the tingling was not continuous and could not point to a specific task or time that caused the tingling to happen. Operator indicated that they had started seeking help for this condition approximately 2 months prior to speaking to the site OHN. Operator informed supervisor that during a follow-up appointment [REDACTED] prior to [REDACTED] that the surgeon wanted to schedule the first procedure for [REDACTED].
