EE was running parts with robot. Robot dropped mishit second hit. EE and another employee trained in robot process was assisting employee troubleshooting issue.Robot suction cups wiped down. Parts placed.Robot was cycled once and stopped to check parts. Robot was placed in hold press in downstroke. Double checked parts both operators agreed parts were set.One employee walked to T-stand to cycle machine instead of exiting cell other employee walked to side of press to check part. Employee at T stand did not realize this and cycled press. Other employee 's hand was in press point of operation checking part. Crush injury to right hand fingers.
