Before the incident
Using a punch to mark chassis for drilling locations
What happened
Employee was using a hammer and a punch to mark drilling locations on a chassis rail. While swinging hammer to hit punch he missed the punch and his right index finger hit the vertical gusset of the fixture. The employee immediately notified leadership. I accompanied the employee to IWIRC where they ran x-rays and determined the index finger was fractured.
