checking 6 gold SST tubes to see if the blood had clotted

What happened

I was checking [REDACTED] SST blood tubes to see if the blood had clotted After checking all 6 tubes I noticed a few blood drops on my gloved hands I immediately removed my gloves properly but did not notice at the time that there were a couple of blood drops on my disposable lab coat sleeve The sleeve is blousy in shape and contacted the skin of the top of my right hand when I removed my gloves The tops of my hands have had a rash I believe due to an allergy for approximately the [REDACTED] a drop of blood from a gold SST tube came into contact with the rash on the top of my right hand I noticed this immediately removed my disposable lab coat carefully and used hand sanitizer followed by washing with soap and waterI discarded my disposable lab coat in biohazardous wasteThe following patients tubes were the ones I was handling I believe the first tube in the list is the one that dripped onto my glove and sleeve but I am not absolutely sure65734023 8 1 tube accession 25CH 312CH031216589
