Before the incident
During our package Changeover from 12oz to 7.5oz on [REDACTED]. The EE was the changeover and training another EE at the time. They were validating all points starting the [REDACTED] Heat Tunnel To the Hartness Packer and back at the [REDACTED]. This is where they noticed the incline was still raise and in the previous format.
What happened
During the changeover on this conveyor machine the employee was wearing gloves and using a kipp handle to lower a rail. As he loosed his side the EE being trained loosened another kipp handle on the same rail causing it to drop abruptly and pinch the EE 's right pinky finger between the lock collar and the adjustment block.
