What happened
Maintenance associate climbed into the scrap trailer to remove the jam. While standing on a pile of scrap the pile gave way forcing the associate to plant his left foot to maintain his balance. A pointed piece of trim scrap pierced through his boot and caused a laceration to the ball of his left foot.
