Employee was in the bathroom and heard commotion from outside the bathroom. Opened the bathroom door and resident was standing outside the bathroom and struck her with a metal pole in the left ribs then again in the arm as she put her arm up to block his swing. Then hit her in the head with the pole as she was trying to deescalate situation and ensure everyone elses safty.
