Employee attempting to inject methanol into the piping system had attached 20 ' extension hose to system attached acme adapter for some reason slightly opened valve and looked into end of hose.

Liquid propane came through hose end and sprayed employee in the face. He was wearing a stocking hat and face mask. Most of the liquid went onto his forehead and upper face.

He experienced [REDACTED] bite on his upper face around his eyes nose forehead and some around his mouth.
