What happened
Employee was assisting Dr. [REDACTED] who was emergently placing a CL to the right femoral vein by immobilizing the pt 's right leg. During insertion the pt. became combative and moving his legs the introducer needle that was lying with the other sharps between pt 's legs pierced thru the drape and into my right middle finger. Employee was evaluated in the ER
