Helping with repair.

Mechanics and TM were in the process of replacing a tag axle steer shock on trailer [REDACTED] when TM injured this forearm. TM was under the unit loosening the mounting bolts and TM was functioning as the spotter from the top side. TM was leaning over the DOT bumper at the back of the trailer with one arm supporting his body and the other holding the steer shock from falling on TM will he loosened the bolts. As the full weight of the shock came onto TM arm his arm twisted causing a popping sensation in the elbow. His forearms twisted and pain developed in his upper forearm. The shock weight is aproxamently 35 lbs. [REDACTED] came to the office and reported the incident the TM who then called myself. We had TM call in on the Savage Injury Helpline. They recommended that TM rest and rap the area with an ace bandage. He can take Tylenol to help with the pain. If pain persists or gets worse then he was to call the Helpline back.
