What happened

On [REDACTED] at approximately 22[REDACTED] hours [REDACTED] was performing their assigned maintenance duties on Ship #3876. While kneeling inside the aft left lavatory to remove the toilet shroud [REDACTED] felt and heard a distinct pop in their right knee. Immediately following this [REDACTED] experienced a sharp pain that radiated from their knee up through the right leg toward the hip. After the incident occurred [REDACTED] noticed swelling developing in their right knee along with continued aching and stiffness.
