What happened
EE reported a lower?back injury sustained while offloading a heavy motorized wheelchair estimated at approximately 500 lbs. The wheelchair had been loaded in bin 1 and required being placed on its side for removal. After tilting it EE pulled the wheelchair toward the belt loader and felt a pop in their back but continued working. As they finished offloading the remaining baggage they experienced increasing discomfort followed by sharp back pain.
