What happened
EE was offloading the cart and grabbed a small duffle bag. The small duffle bag was on the top cart and EE grabbed the bag by the straps not testing its weight. 3 bowling balls were inside the bag and the straps got tangled up on EE left middle finger as it fell to the ground. EE experienced discomfort and pain immediately but continued working the flight. After the flight EE spoke with OSM on duty. VAT was closed and not contacted. OSM offered EE ice to place on finger. The follow day EE was still experiencing pain and VAT was contacted. VAT recommended icing finger in a cup and follow up if pain and discomfort persisted.?
