Bag Handling

While offloading [REDACTED] [REDACTED] EE picked up a heavy bag off belt and attempted to load bag on top cart. While loading the bag EE caught their left middle finger on the metal cart divider. EE experienced immediate pain and told agent standing near by of the injury. EE continued to work the flight but at the end of their shift was not able to advise leadership as they were gone for the day. The following day after reporting to work EE advised OSM on duty regarding the injury. OSM contacted VAT and VAT recommended EE ice and buddy up the finger while working. EE took VATs advice and continued to work. On [REDACTED] EE reported to OSM their middle finger was still hurting and not feeling better. VAT was contacted and VAT recommendations were EE to be seen by a physician.
