What happened
Employee was attempting to hook up a tire cart to the hitch of the vehicle. The employee had roughly between 2 to 3 feet of space (shoulder width) from the hitch of the vehicle and tongue of the tire cart. While pulling the tire cart and guiding the tongue towards the hitch with the employees ' right hand and holding the hitch up with their left hand the employee misjudged the alignment of the tongue and crushed their right-hand pinky with the tongue of the trailer against the hitch. restrictions lost time Rx significant injury
