What happened
At approximately [REDACTED] EE placed a carry-on bag from inbound [REDACTED] down the chute to be taken to the baggage service office. She failed to inform operations and the ALA working the flight of the bag. The bag was then loaded on outbound flight DL3982 due to the ALA not being aware of the situation. The EE was instructed by the [REDACTED] to go down on the ramp and let the ALA know what color the bag is. On her way back up the stairs she missed a step and her left ankle made contact on the edge of the step.
