Moving poles from trailer. Injured employee was placing rope onto pole to be moved.

Crew member on other side of pole reattached cant hook and began pulling the pole. The end of the pole by the injured employee fell off the pile rolled toward employee and struck the injured employee’s right hand pinching it between the center bolster and the pole. The pole then rolled off and released the injured employee’s hand.

Fractures to right pinky and ring finger and lacerations on inside of right hand.
