Before the incident
The employee was collecting refuse on his regular route. He had taken two bins to the back of the truck to dump.
What happened
He stabilized the right side of one of the bins with his right hand and as he went to adjust the plastic bag at the top of the trash bin with his left hand he noted a prick in the finger of his left hand. When he tore the plastic bag slightly to see the source of the prick he found a needle syringe was the source.
