The employee reports they were on a call. The patient they were lifting was around 300 pounds. They loaded the patient at the hospital with additional assistance however did note some abdominal discomfort following this. They called for a lift assist at the next facility and then transported the patient. When they got to the facility the lift assist was 45 minutes out. Some of the staff at the facility helped out but states after getting the patient moved over to the bed he had pain in his abdomen directly above the umbilicus
