Nurse reported that while she was assisting the transportation tech in transferring a patient from her bed to stretcher she experienced a sudden snapping sensation in her right thumb. She stated the incident occurred as she was helping to move the patient 's upper body. Nurse stated the movement required moderate exertion and that she felt the sensation immediate and it was localized in her right thumb accompanied by discomfort.
