What happened
I entered OR3 at approximately [REDACTED] to assist with transferring a patient from the OR table to the stretcher after her procedure was completed. I assisted with rolling the patient toward me to place the chux and roller board under neath her. I stood on the right side of the patient with another staff member in order to help push while others pulled during transfer. I reached over the OR table and removing the roller board from underneath the patient. Of note this patient was 161 kg at time of procedure. This was the only heavy lifting activity I performed on this date. In the evening after my shift I began experiencing pain in my lower back. It has continued to worsen up until the present ([REDACTED]) at the time of this report. The pain is constant and not relieved by rest. It worsens significantly with movement.
