What happened
On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] hours patient began to escalate while on a watch. Patient had been given medications prior but continued to escalate. Patient then began shouting expletive language and struck another staff. Patient was also given more medication at this time. Patient continued to escalate and attempted to tear his mattress apart getting it wet with previously spilled water. It was then asked the mattress be removed from the room as well. During movement Cg 's left arm became trapped between the IV stand and the mattress. [REDACTED] immediately experienced pain in my left arm and shoulder.
