Before the incident

Employee finished loading tools into a Hurco [REDACTED] machine for the next job to be ran and was beginning the next steps in the process when they realized the setup of tooling was incorrect They put a tool into a pocket of the tooling magazine that the machine thought was empty The machine then went to remove the tool from the spindle as it was programmed to do and when the employee realized the machine was going to run into the spindle with the tool in the magazine they thought they would be able to remove the tool quick enough so that would not happen This caused the employees hand to be pinched between the tool and the spindle housing
