What happened
Pt was in 4 point locked restraints for personal and staff safety. Pt 's current IV was not accessible due to pt demeanor and restraint placement. While attempting to gain new IV access EE was leaning towards pt R arm and pt turned head and spit into EE face. EE felt fluid hit in and around left eye. Witnessing coworkers and supervisor recommended EE immediately go to ER and get checked as a precaution.
