What happened
Inpatient came down with 2 transporters who stayed to help me & my coworker move the patient. Everyone got on each side of the patient ready to move . I lifted the patient 's legs up so we could use the sliding board underneath & felt a pop in my back. I immediately had to remove myself from the area. I could not stand straight & had to move very slow almost limping. It was very sudden and it is currently stopping me from moving my usual pace.
