What happened
A patient EE was seeing in the [REDACTED] was not being cooperative was having a verbal altercation with their significant other security was called patient stated was not staying here anymore then proceeded to rip out IV line grab belongings and elope from the department. When the patient ripped out their IV line they splashed saline fluids and may or may not have contained blood. Felt droplets splash more forehead and right eyelid was not entirely certain if the droplets made contact with eye actually but out of precaution decided to go report the potential exposure.
