Opening a suture needle
What happened
Doing an excision of a lipoma on the left buttocks of a patient closing skin with suture and when pulling the suture from the pack the needle sliced the top of my finger. The needle was new and not used but my outer gloves were pretty saturated in the patient 's blood. the needle sliced through both top and bottom gloves
