What happened
The associate was removing plastic wrap on a pallet when a case fell loose. While falling the associate attempted to catch the case. The case then hit against the right outrigger of the reach MHE. A glass shard came through the top of the case and lacerated the associates right pinky.
Injury or illness
While removing the plastic from a full pallet replen at 53-20-A1 the front right case fell from the pallet. [REDACTED] attempted to catch the case with his right hand however the case had already hit the ground causing 2 units to break. Glass from one of the broken units sliced open his right pinky finger. I saw him holding his hand and asked if he was ok he then showed me his finger.
