Before the incident
Associate picked up a pallet at [REDACTED] and was traveling in aisle [REDACTED] on the way to their storage location.
What happened
Another LTO traveling in front of them stopped to pick a pallet with their forks raised parallel with the aisle. The injured associate was not looking in the direction of travel. One of the forks from the first LTO 's MHE entered the operator compartment but did not puncture the associate 's leg. When the 1st LTO tried to remove the fork from operator compartment the fork shifted and pinned the LTOs leg against the inside of the operator compartment.
