What happened
The employee was bringing supplies into a room where caustic was being opened for use. The employee was well over 25 feet from where the chemicals were at the time of the incident. The employee handling the caustic was in full PPE and had no issues. We have since changed that no-one be anywhere in the area when caustic is being handled even at a safe distance.
