I was in the room searching patients closet for supplies needed to re-access PAC.
What happened
removed old Huber needle. scrubbed site inserted new need. I did not get blood return so I pulled up on needle withdrawing from the port. By reflex I stuck my left thumb with the now contaminated Huber needle.
